At Living55Plus, we agree with the World Health Organization definition of HEALTH as optimal mental, physical and social WELL-BEING and not just the absence of disease or infirmity. HEALTHY AGING is both extending one’s lifespan and maintaining this well-being vitality as long as possible.

Absolutely! The evidence is mounting; most of deterioration that we associate with getting older is a function of lifestyle. To help people make sure they are on the right track, we are offering a series of tips that present the consequences of an unhealthy lifestyle, and the actions one can take to get on the right path.

Living55Plus promotes an EVERYDAY WAYS approach to well-being. The object is to prevent or reduce the impact of unhealthy life experiences and to adopt daily behaviors that promote optimal health. These tips are especially relevant to people 50 years and older but also apply to young adults.
