The American College of Lifestyle Medicine provides leadership and assistance, facilitating lifestyle medicine clinicians’ pursuits of continuing medical education, practice knowledge, leadership skills, and research information needed to provide quality patient care and best treat patients with lifestyle-related diseases.
Living55Plus is interested in forging closer relationships with the medical community. We expect a two way benefit.
First, we want to learn from traditional medicine and share the information and resources with you our constituents.
Second, we want to educate the medical community on Everyday Ways to Improve Healthy and Well-Being. As we face sky-rocketing healthcare costs and an aging population – things need to change. There is a growing recognition that there must be a shift from treating diseases to preventing disease. Part of this picture is educating and empowering people to make healthy lifestyle changes. This is where Living55Plus fits in. Our goal is to work hand in glove with the medical community to make preventative medicine happen with individuals, communities and throughout society. But, it is not an either or situation – it needs to be collaborative.
Stay tuned for insights and actionable Everyday Ways to Enhance Lifestyle that come out of this relationship.
